Las Vegas Raiders hosted former division rival wide receiver for a visit
Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports

The Las Vegas Raiders are trying to bolster their depth at the wide receiver position. They have already added Michael Gallup through free agency and are still looking to add more.

The Raiders are steadfast in their commitment to provide ample talent around their two quarterbacks for the upcoming season, as evidenced by their decision not to draft a quarterback in the 2024 NFL Draft. With the Gallup signing and the addition of Brock Bowers in the first round of the draft, they have bolstered their offensive arsenal.

So, they are hosting more wide receivers for visits.

According to Aaron Wilson of KCPR 2, the Raiders have hosted former AFC West division rival Jalen Guyton, one of the former Los Angeles Chargers.

Guyton had 500 receiving yards in 2020 and 400 the year after as a guy who was sometimes the third or fourth option on the Chargers.

Last offseason, the Raiders signed former Chargers player DeAndre Carter. That didn't work quite like everyone hoped it would, but then again, the offense was terrible. Should they sign him, the Raiders hope to add a great fifth wide receiver with experience.
